Submissions are also invited for poster presentations from early career researchers. The topic of your submitted poster must fit with the them of prevention via digital technologies: expanding the possibilities for better mental health. Deadline for submission is Friday 14th December 2018. Ten researchers will be selected to join the conference and present their research on a poster, one of whom will be awarded the Janice Sinson Award. NIHR MindTech MedTech Co-operative are hosting their annual symposium on Wednesday 5th December 2018 at the Royal College of Physicians, London. This years theme is 'Improving Lives with Digital Mental Healthcare'.
The symposium brings together leaders in clinical practice, patient experience, academic research, industry and technology development to address the key challenges in building a stronger evidence-base to support implementation of new technologies in mental healthcare.

Congratulations go to Marsha McAdam, NewMind Service User ‘Expert by Experience’ and Dragons’ Den panel member for winning a 'Highly Commended' award at the Faculty of Medicine, Biology & Health (FBMH) 'Celebrating Patient & Public Involvement & Engagement' day. Marsha has been part of the NewMind network since May 2016 and has been an active participant in our proposal development workshops and Feasibility Funding activities. Marsha was presented with her ‘Highly Commended’ award by Dr Hema Radhakrishnan, Associate Dean for Social Responsibility, at the event in July.
